The traditional Cretan dakos PGI is produced in Crete according to the local recipe. To prepare an unforgettable dakos, lightly wet the crouton and then cover it with chopped tomatoes, capers, oregano and cheese. You can use mizithra or crumbled feta. Finally, pour plenty of extra virgin olive oil and your exquisite dakos is ready to be served.
