The Lucius extra virgin olive oil is produced in the central Peloponnese at a height of around 800m above sea level. The olives used for its production are exclusively of the koroneiki variety, one of the oldest varieties that has been used since centuries for the production of extra virgin olive oil in Greece. The harvest takes place every year at the turn of November and December, the cold pressing process is carried out on the same day of the harvest to keep intact the nutritive qualities of the oil and to obtain the lowest possible level of acidity.
