Pecorino Amfilochia is a hard table cheese with a special flavour.
It is prepared in the region of Amfilochia by fresh pasteurized sheep and goat milk. After the production, it ages for 3 months so its taste can be enhanced with a slightly spicy flavour. It is characterized by a rich aroma and its unique salty taste with mild spicy elements.
It is ideal for saganaki, grated into pasta but also for meat filling.
You can use it also in your cheese pies and even as a ‘meze’ to accompany your ouzo and tsipouro!
