The olives of the koroneiki variety grow at a height of about 800mt above sea level in an unspoiled area of the central Peloponnese near the ancient Olympia. The harvest takes place every year towards the end of November, the olives are cold pressed on the same day of harvest to maintain a product rich in nutritional properties and with a naturally low level of acidity.
The Lucius extra virgin olive oil is naturally low in acidity.

The Lucius extra virgin olive oil has an intense herbaceous aroma and has a delicate taste on the palate leaving a slightly spicy aftertaste. It is therefore an extra virgin oil ideal for seasoning delicate dishes in order to emphasize the ingredients that compose them. Fish and meat tartare are ideal combinations, as well as fish in all its cooking modes. Lucius is a superb extra-virgin olive oil even when tasted plain on the classic bruschetta.
