The Mouhtaro is perhaps the rarest variety of grapes in Greece, a heritage of the Valley of the Muses where lies the Muses Estate.

This wine, made with 100% Mouhtaro grapes, has a rather complex character, a mix of fruity and spicy aromas. It leaves on the palate soft and delicate tannins combined with a pronounced acidity. It is the pronounced level of acidity that confers an aging potential of more than 10 years giving the wine a chance to gain more body and complexity.

Over the years this wine has won numerous awards, including the gold medal at the 2011 Berlin Wine Trophy and the silver medal at the 2009 International Wine Challenge.
