One of Greece’s oldest traditional cheeses, kefalotyri, is usually made from a mix of milks. This version is different: it is produced exclusively with goat’s milk from the island of Ios, resulting in a cleaner, sharper, and more defined flavour.
Firm in texture and rich in taste, it is ideal both grated over pasta and enjoyed in aperitifs or cheese boards, where its character truly shines. Its pronounced savouriness pairs beautifully with dry white wines, balancing richness with freshness.

Produced on the Cycladic island of Ios by To Niotiko Tyrokomio, this cheese is made using locally sourced milk from free-grazing animals.
