Greek pita bread is known all around the world for its' amazing taste and texture! This particular pita from Elviart is the most traditional pita on the Greek market. It has a diameter of 16cm, ideal for souvlaki but not only! You can also use it as a pizza base, with some tomato sauce and cheese on top, you can cut it in pieces and create delicious canapés with it or just use it instead of bread to accompany your meals or BBQs. Useful Information

Making a pita bread with chicken souvlaki has never been easier!

Just follow the tips below:

  • Spread a piece of chicken with olive oil, sprinkle with pepper and salt and then bake it in the oven for 20-30', at 200°C.
  • Then warm the Classic Pita bread until it turns a beautiful golden brown color.
  • Place a slice of chicken in the pita, add tomato, onion, lettuce and yogurt sauce (or any other type of sauce you prefer).
  • You can also add french fries or a salad as a side dish.
  • Enjoy your homemade souvlaki!

Note: This pita is freshly produced every week and can be kept outside of the freezer until the date written on the pack. After this date, it can be left in the freezer for up to 12 months.
