Product Description
Product Description
Karpea Lakonia PGI Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes straight from the sun-kissed lands of Lakonia, in the southeastern Peloponnese, embodying centuries of Greek olive oil tradition. Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) certified, it is made from Koroneiki and Athinolia olives, hand-picked in season before the fruit is fully ripe, and cultivated in the unique microclimate shaped by the Parnonas and Taygetos mountains.
According to the producer, this extra virgin olive oil stands out for an intense green to golden-green colour, with an intense fruity aroma featuring notes of freshly cut grass, tomato and banana, and a rich, fruity flavour with a gentle spicy finish.
Karpea Lakonia EVOO is the perfect companion for your everyday meals. Drizzle it over salads (try it in your dakos salad), finish grilled fish, enhance white meats and poultry, or toss with pasta and vegetables to bring the taste of Greece into your home.
Bottled in Greece by Karpea S.A. in Nea Erythraia, Athens, in a 500 ml dark glass bottle.
