Handmade in small batches in Athens, these traditional Greek Diples are a beloved festive sweet. Thin sheets of dough are rolled, shaped, and fried until perfectly crisp, then immersed in fragrant blossom honey syrup and sprinkled with crushed walnuts and a touch of cinnamon.
A true symbol of Greek hospitality, they are traditionally enjoyed at Christmas and New Year gatherings, but honestly, there’s no wrong moment to bring them to the table. Beautiful as a gift, excellent for sharing, and guaranteed to bring that warm “we’re together” feeling.
