Product Description

Organic mountain tea blossoms by Organic Islands, 20 g.

Mountain tea, tsai tou vounou, is the everyday Greek infusion, made from the flowering tops of Sideritis, a plant that grows wild on the dry, rocky heights of the islands. Organic Islands harvests the blossoms alone, which is what makes the cup so aromatic.

The infusion is pale gold, with a warm herbal aroma and a clean, gently sweet finish.

How to brew it

  • A small handful of blossoms in a pot of just-boiled water
  • Simmer 3–4 minutes, then strain
  • Plain, or with honey and a slice of lemon
  • A classic winter cup, and good chilled in summer

Magic taste of fresh mountain tea! Packed in a very nice can, saved it's freshness and integrity of the flowers and leaves.
