Cretan Xynomyzithra PDO is one of Crete’s most distinctive fresh cheeses, made exclusively from a blend of sheep’s and goat’s milk. Naturally white, soft, and pleasantly tangy, it’s protected by PDO status, ensuring authentic origin and traditional production methods.

 

A cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet, it’s incredibly versatile: perfect in classic Cretan dishes, light summer plates, and even sweet-and-savoury pairings where its gentle acidity really shines.
