Product Description
Product Description
Authentic Peloponnese feta, matured the traditional way.
Our Greek Feta PDO “Pyrgos Reserve” is crafted in Pyrgos (Ilia), north-western Peloponnese, using sheep’s and goat’s milk sourced from selected local herds that graze freely in the nearby mountain area. The result is a feta with real character: structured, savoury and deeply Mediterranean.
What makes it truly special is its months-long ageing in traditional wooden barrels. This classic method develops a fuller flavour and a more complex profile than standard feta: rich dairy notes, balanced salinity, a gently tangy finish, and a firm yet creamy texture.
- PDO certified and produced exclusively in Pyrgos, Peloponnese
- Barrel-aged for months for a deeper, rounder flavour
- Sheep & goat milk from local mountain farmers
- Approx. 500g – ideal for premium boards and everyday Mediterranean cooking
