Product Description

Traditional Galaktoboureko is one of Greece’s most cherished desserts. Crafted from layers of crispy phyllo pastry wrapped around a smooth semolina custard, and finished with a delicately aromatic syrup, it combines crisp texture with melt-in-the-mouth softness.

This dessert is deeply tied to Greek family traditions; every bite recalls the warmth of homemade sweets prepared by grandmothers during festive gatherings.

Your Galaktoboureko is shipped directly from Athens with dedicated air transport to ensure maximum freshness and flavour. Ideal to share after a meal or to grace any celebration table.

Suggested Pairings:

  • Greek mountain tea

Customer photo review of Traditional Galaktoboureko – Custard Phyllo Pie (approx. 1200g)

Despite travelling internationally the product arrived intact and delicious. Kudos to our Greek friends and thank you for the small aluminum container which we can reuse and maybe try to cook it ourselves some day!

Customer video review of Traditional Galaktoboureko – Custard Phyllo Pie (approx. 1200g)

Actually this time I wasn't satisfied with this product. It was president to much water compared sugar, I hope this will help you to improve this product for better next time..

Traditional Galaktoboureko – Custard Phyllo Pie (approx. 1200g)

Store owner replied: Hi Sreten, we're very sorry you didn't like the galaktoboureko this time. The product is fresh, and we receive it every week from our bakery. Obviously, the bakery follows a recipe, but since it's artisanal and not mass-produced, there may be differences between batches. We'll contact the bakery in any case, following your kind feedback.
