L'estate a Venezia è molto afosa ma con questo retsina fresco di frigorifero almeno abbiamo un po' di refrigerio. Quindi ne ho fatto ampia scorta.

To be honest I think the wine is gone off. It smells weird and tastes really bad and not like what I had before in Greece - it has a taste that is so bitter and nearly like what petrol smell / taste would be - chemicals
Store owner replied: Hello Paula, thank you for telling us. Retsina is wine flavoured with Aleppo pine resin, and Malamatina is one of the more strongly resinous ones, so next to the lighter retsina poured in tavernas, it can come across as bitter and almost turpentine-like. That said, a 3L box travelling in high summer can also suffer from the heat, and we would rather check than assume.
