Product Description

The Smoked Graviera “Kapnisti” from Ios is a Greek artisanal cheese with a refined smoky character. Produced on the island of Ios using cow’s and sheep’s milk, it is gently smoked to enhance its aroma while preserving the natural sweetness of the milk.

Its texture is smooth and compact, with a deep yellow colour and a balanced flavour profile: elegant smokiness, rounded finish, never overpowering. A cheese that works beautifully on its own — and shines even more when paired.

How to enjoy it

  • Gourmet cheese board with thyme, honey, and dried fruits
  • Grilled vegetables topped with melted graviera
  • Quick aperitif with warm bread and ouzo

Where it comes from

This graviera is produced on the island of Ios by Niotiko Tyrokomio, a local dairy using only milk from free-range animals.

Traditional methods, strict quality control, and attention to every production step define their work.

Each cheese captures the aromas of the island and offers an authentic taste of Greek craftsmanship.
