Soutzouki is a spiced sausage that came to Greece from Asia Minor. This one is made by Batanian in Koropi, Attica, in the Armenian style: beef and pork with cumin, garlic, pepper, allspice and fenugreek, which give it its powerful, oriental aroma.
It is a heat-treated product that must be cooked thoroughly before eating: fry it in a pan with eggs or potatoes, add it to your saganaki, or use it as a topping for pizza. Being in slices, it goes straight from the pack to the pan, without the hassle of cutting it.

Ingredients: beef 42% (EU), pork 30% (EU), beef fat 10% (EU), water, soy vegetable protein, salt, cumin, pepper, barley, garlic, fenugreek, flavour enhancer monosodium glutamate, allspice, stabiliser triphosphates (E451i), antioxidants sodium erythorbate (E316) and sodium ascorbate (E301), preservative sodium nitrite, dextrose.
Allergens: soy, barley (gluten). May contain egg, milk, celery, mustard, sesame seeds.
Preparation: cook thoroughly before eating. The artificial casing is not edible.
