Product Description

Straight from the island of Evia, home to more than 25,000 fig trees, come our authentic dried figs – 250g. Cultivated with care and processed according to traditional methods, these figs embody the essence of Greek nature.

 

What makes them unique is their special preparation: the figs are split open and sun-dried, a process that allows the two halves to rejoin and form the famous “askada”. The result is a thin golden crust with a naturally sweet flavour, soft texture, and rich aroma.

 

Enjoy them as a wholesome snack or elevate your table by pairing them with our Greek cheeses. Their mellow sweetness beautifully contrasts the salty notes of PDO feta, the creaminess of manouri, and the bold flavour of graviera.
