These traditional braided Moustokouloura biscuits are made in Athens following an old Greek recipe that uses grape must to bring natural sweetness and aroma.

 

Soft, gently spiced, and beautifully simple, they represent the everyday comfort of Greek home baking, without the need for added sugar.

Expect warm notes of cinnamon and clove, a balanced texture, and a flavour that recalls small village bakeries and Sunday gatherings.

The order came very late. We were promised a 2 days delivery time and it took almost 10 days. We ordered before Palm Sunday and the cookies came after the Greek Easter-- it was a disappointment.

We have checked your order and here is summed up the timings related: we prepared and dispatched in 3 working days (received on sunday and dispatched on wednesday). The delivery was after 3 more days (on the following monday), so delivery time was 3 days. It could have been better if the courier would have delivered on friday, sometimes they manage to but this is not under our control. Hope you are enjoying the retsina! Cheers from Greece!
