Useful Information

The grapes are handpicked, sundried for 6-8 days and then slowly fermented for 40 days. Maturation occurs for 36 months in oak barrels, and the ageing process continues in the bottle. The location of the vineyards that produce this unique wine is in Pyrgos village, Santorini & Therasia, with an altitude of up to 400 meters. The age of the vines is 20-60 years and they undergo the traditional pruning method in round baskets called “Kouloura”.
