Tirokafteri, sharp and faintly spiced. Hummus, dense and smooth. Melitzanosalata, smoky and almost sweet. And pita to scoop it all up, still soft from the kitchen. Nobody ordered any of it — it just appeared, the way it always does in Greece. This bundle puts that table back in front of you, without the flight.

 

Each component arrives fresh, cold-chain shipped from Greece. The four dips are made in the traditional style, with clean ingredients and no unnecessary additions. The Elviart pita rounds are soft, slightly pillowy, and hand-sized — exactly the format you find at the taverna counter. Everything is matched to work together, because that is how it was designed to be eaten.

  • Greek Pita Bread – 10 rounds (Elviart): soft wheat flatbread, baked fresh. Clean ingredient list: wheat flour, water, yeast, salt, vegetable oil. No preservatives. Vegetarian-friendly.
  • Tzatziki – 250g: strained Greek yogurt with cucumber, garlic, and olive oil. Naturally high in protein from the yogurt base. Contains milk.
  • Tirokafteri – 250g: blended feta with roasted red pepper and a touch of chilli. The spiced cheese dip of Greek tavernas. Contains milk.
  • Hummus – 250g: chickpeas, tahini, lemon, garlic, olive oil. Plant-based, naturally rich in fibre and vegetable protein. Contains sesame.
  • Melitzanosalata – 250g: roasted aubergine with olive oil, garlic, and herbs. The lightest dip of the selection. Vegan. No dairy.

Storage guide: five fresh products, one simple rule.

Everything in this bundle is fresh and cold-chain shipped. The principle is the same across all five components: keep cold, open only when needed, and consume within a few days of opening.

How to store it correctly:

  • On arrival: place all five products in the refrigerator immediately. Do not leave at room temperature for extended periods before first use.
  • Before serving: remove the dips from the fridge 10–15 minutes before serving. They reach their best flavour and texture slightly above refrigerator temperature.
  • After opening: keep each opened container sealed or covered and refrigerated. Consume within 2–3 days of opening for best quality.

Freshness timeline:

  • Unopened, refrigerated: refer to the best-before date printed on each product. Typically, 7–14 days from dispatch for fresh dips; pita has a longer shelf life.
  • Opened dips: consume within 2–3 days. Keep covered and refrigerated at all times.
  • Pita after opening: reseal the bag. Consume within 2–3 days, or warm briefly in a pan or oven to refresh.

Hallo, Oliven waren sehr gut, das Brot ebenso, eingelegten Feigen, Rosinen, Gewürz alles gut. Die beiden Aufstriche waren ungenießbar und haben nicht geschmeckt. Wir haben sie dann selber gemacht. Schlecht ist eure Kommunikation und die Lieferzeit. 11 Tage ist zu lang.
